Dioxane, Reagent, ACS is a colorless liquid known as a heterocyclic organic compound. It has a light sweet odor similar to that of diethyl ether and is classified as an ether. Miscible in water and hygroscopic, it is primarily used as a stabilizer for 1,1,1-trichloroethane while in storage or transport in aluminum containers.
